3D (CLO) Technical Designer

We are seeking a CLO 3D Technical Designer to join our Visualization team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with 3D garment development (CLO, Browzwear, Optitex, or Style3D) and a strong foundation in technical design, fitting, and pattern development. This role plays a key part in developing high-quality 3D assets and digital workflows that shape the future of ALO’s product creation. RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Visualization team in assembling 3D garments based on fit direction from the Technical Design team’
Build, modify, and manage 3D garment files in CLO and CLO-SET
Assist in organizing and managing the 3D asset library, including blocks, fabrics, trims, and avatars
Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design, Design, and Product Development
Participate in digital fittings and document/communicate fit feedback clearly with internal teams and external vendors
Manage and track 3D creation projects, ensuring timely deliverables and accurate version control for all 3D styles
Maintain clear file organization and communication with vendors and cross- functional partners
Support onboarding and training initiatives for new team members as skills develop
Test and evaluate new digital tools, providing actionable feedback
Develop and maintain best practices for garment construction and 3D asset quality, including updates to the 3D standards manual

RTW
3D Designer
France - Paris
As 3D Designer, you will create 3D garment designs and prototypes (’maquettes’) across our RTW collections.
You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Head Designer RTW and work cross-functionally to deliver collections that reflect the brand’s identity and meet strategic goals in line with the calendar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Head Designer RTW in the design process from concept to final product, including sketching, 3D, development, technical drawings, prototype creation and participating in the industrialization process.
Design and develop RTW garments across all categories (pre-collection, runway, capsule, etc.), ensuring alignment with the Creative Director’s vision and the brand’s image.
Develop innovative design concepts and effectively visualize them through hand sketches, 3D prototypes, and detailed technical drawings.
Collaborate closely with the in-house atelier, the product development team and the fabric department to ensure proposed designs meet the brief in terms of fabric, drape, and fit.
Attend fittings and give input into design details; implement necessary modifications and finalize products with development teams and industrialization teams when needed.
Monitor fashion trends and emerging graphic techniques to drive originality and desirability.

The Technical Designer, Nike Underwear provides support through basic technical proficiency and organization; this entails all aspects of our daily operations and functions.
Responsibilities:
Participate in Tech pack pass-off with Design for new seasonal styles and provide technical support for design to build necessary detail sketches in development stage
Understand design requirements, update and maintain tech pack as fit development progresses
Work with Hub team and Vendor partners throughout proto sampling and fitting, through Design Intent approval
Lead the risk assessment process with Sourcing, Raw Materials and QA to identify and mitigate risk to production
Organize & prepare the fitting session and interact with design and supply team with necessary technical feedback
Provide fit comments to include pattern corrections, illustration sketches and construction feedback, to progress style development in line with calendar deliverables
Follow up with the cross functional team on the risk mitigation action & testing reports
Maintain the block sample and fit sample library for allocated product categories.
