OURO Interactive is Oculus Studio’s first in-house game studio dedicated exclusively to creating flagship games for Horizon Worlds. As a Principal Tech Artist for OURO Interactive, you’ll be at the forefront of shipping cross-platform VR/MR and mobile experiences for the ever-expanding Horizon metaverse.
Principal Technical Artist Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain art production workflows and pipelines by creating features, tools, plugins, and scripts to aid artists, reduce pain points, and speed up iteration cycles
Provide input on the ongoing development of the primary game engine, editor, and tooling to our cross functional partners on other teams
Maintain and adhere to a consistent art style and ensure technical requirements for assets are enforced
Optimize environments to keep artistic fidelity as high as possible while maintaining performance
Support the ingestion of finished art to the game engine, assisting in asset performance and validation
Create and maintain technical documentation
Train and mentor other artists to grow their technical skills
Develop the team’s shader tech and implement high-level features and maintain low-level shader code organization and optimization
Collaborate closely with graphics programming and our core tech teams on features that keep the game performant and achieve the highest artistic standards
Support the content team in debugging issues with tools, assets, or framerate

3D Generalist & Motion Designer Astranis is looking for a CG Generalist who can bring our technology and products to life across 3D and 2D mediums. This role will own animation from concept through delivery — shaping how we communicate with customers, investors, and the world. You’ll create high-impact motion design for web, social, product launches, events, and technical explainers.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Astranis’s motion design language, ensuring visual clarity, technical accuracy, and consistency across all channels.
Role:
Own Astranis’s 3D and 2D animation end-to-end: concept, storyboard, design, animate, edit, deliver.
Create 3D sequences (product/technology shots, environment/space scenes) and 2D motion graphics (typography, iconography, data visualization, HUDs, lower thirds).
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives in close collaboration with engineers, product, and marketing.
Develop Astranis’s motion identity — including color, type, transitions, and animation principles — in partnership with the brand team.
Adapt and extend existing CAD/STEP files while building custom 3D models when needed.

Responsibilities
Conceptualization & Storyboarding: Collaborate closely with creative directors, video producers, video editors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative concepts and visual styles for motion graphics projects.
Generative AI Video Creation: Utilize Generative AI platforms as a core tool to rapidly create and augment video content for promos, commercials, and branded campaigns. Focus on prompt engineering and creative direction to produce visually dynamic and compelling content that pushes creative boundaries and accelerates production timelines.
Motion Graphics Design & Animation: Design and animate compelling motion graphics using advanced techniques in Adobe After Effects, including:
Complex keyframe animation and expressions
3D animation integration (e.g., with Cinema 4D or other 3D software)
Advanced compositing and visual effects (rotoscoping, tracking, keying, particle systems, etc.)
Kinetic typography and dynamic text animation
Product UI animation and clean up
Data visualization and infographic animation
After Effects template design and creation
Video Editing & Integration: Edit and assemble video footage (primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro) and seamlessly integrate motion graphics elements, ensuring visual consistency, pacing, and flow.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all motion graphics content adheres strictly to Salesforce brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms and projects.
Collaboration & Client Relations: Work directly with internal clients and stakeholders to define project scope, manage expectations, and deliver assets that meet specific business objectives.
Problem-Solving & Innovation: Proactively identify and solve creative and technical challenges throughout the production pipeline. Stay at the forefront of motion graphics trends, tools, and techniques, continually exploring new ways to enhance visual storytelling and production efficiency.
Asset Management: Organize and manage project files, assets, and libraries efficiently to ensure smooth workflows and easy access for future projects.
Optimization & Delivery: Optimize motion graphics and video files for various platforms and delivery methods, ensuring high quality and efficient playback.
