We’re looking for a 3D Visual Designer to join the Spectacles design team!
What you’ll do:
Work on an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from emerging 3D and AR technology to iconography systems across our applications
Architect ambitious and often ambiguous design projects that will set precedent for the rest of the industry
Collaborate with prototypers, product designers, engineers, and artists to solve complex problems, translate strategic goals into relevant solutions, and build world class experiences
Help lead visual strategy and define principles and systems that help connect innovative product design with our engaging and playful brand
Design innovative interfaces and AR experiences that push boundaries
Evolve the look and feel of the Spectacles interface
Make 2D and 3D assets from various concepts into assets for operating system, interactive experience and other aspects of the Spectacles interface
Seek out and utilize emerging technologies to scale the impact of the Spectacles design team
NICOLEHOLLIS
Interior 3D Artist
USA - San Francisco, CA - $95K/yr - $120K/yr
The position of 3D Artist contributes to the success of NICOLEHOLLIS, Inc, by creating architectural and interior design renderings for residential and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience working in the architectural 3D rendering industry with a solid understanding of modeling buildings from drawings, applying materials, lighting a scene and composition. Hand sketching and traditional rendering skills are a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce high quality, photorealistic computer-generated visualizations, 3D interior and exterior imagery for use in client presentations and studies
Produce 3D photorealistic computer-generated visualization of custom furniture, lighting pieces and accessories.
Apply lighting and shading to properly represent photorealistic quality of renderings; consistently display a strong attention to detail and finishes.
Maintain and update a custom 3D model library of objects, furniture, lighting and more.
Concept development during pre-production phases with other designers.
Involvement in the preparation of client concept presentations.
Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
Work closely with project management and address questions, changes, or clarifications may come across.
Follow standard drawing process consistently and checking details for accuracy.
Produce images in accordance with existing studio 3D standards and processes.

What You’ll Do
The Freelance 3D Rendering Artist (20 hours per week) will support the Global Retail Experience team in visualizing design concepts across scales — from flagship environments to fixture-level detail. This role requires strong creative translation skills, fast iteration, and precision in rendering environments, materials, and lighting to bring design intent to life.
The ideal candidate combines architectural visualization expertise with an understanding of storytelling and brand experience. They are agile, organized, and comfortable flexing between high-level concept development and detailed production support.
This role will report to the Associate Creative Director, Global Retail Experience.

Translate hand sketches and design concepts into 3D models and photorealistic renderings that capture brand tone, materiality, and spatial intent.

Produce rendering variations across scales — from full store environments to furniture and fixture components.
Support the visualization of global concepts for flagships, department stores, pop-ups and travel retail executions.
Maintain brand visual standards across all renderings, ensuring color, light, and material representation are consistent with Sol de Janeiro’s creative guidelines.
Manage workload and delivery timelines based on project priorities and seasonal needs.

Build and optimize realistic, scalable 3D environments where robots learn to act in the world
Collaborate with AI, robotics, and graphics teams to define requirements for asset materials, shaders, lighting, and physical properties, ensuring both the visual fidelity and physical accuracy needed to train robot control models
Create tools to ingest and standardize assets from scans, CAD data, or generative AI models
Work with and manage third-party asset vendors, with the goal of building the world’s best library of assets and scenes for robotics simulation

What You’ll Bring
