And more job openings for 3D Artists!
Astranis Space Technologies
Motion Designer (2D and 3D)
USA - San Francisco
Astranis is looking for a Motion Designer who can bring our technology and story to life across 2D and 3D mediums. This role will own animation from concept through delivery — shaping how we communicate with customers, investors, and the world. You’ll create high-impact motion design for web, social, product launches, events, and technical explainers.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Astranis’s motion design language, ensuring visual clarity, technical accuracy, and consistency across all channels.
Role:
Own Astranis’s 2D and 3D animation end-to-end: concept, storyboard, design, animate, edit, deliver.
Create 2D motion graphics (typography, iconography, data visualization, HUDs, lower thirds) and 3D sequences (product/technology shots, environment/space scenes).
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives in close collaboration with engineers, product, and marketing.
Develop Astranis’s motion identity — including color, type, transitions, and animation principles — in partnership with the brand team.
Adapt and extend existing CAD/STEP files while building custom 3D models when needed.

Salesforce
AI Animator & Storyteller
USA - San Francisco, CA - $169.6K/yr - $233.2K/yr
Imagine if… creatives didn’t have to say “Imagine if” when selling their work. Too often, ideas live flat in a keynote or a Figma file, requiring stakeholders to envision the final impact. We believe in transforming “Imagine if” into “Watch this” —because seeing is believing. And this role will help us to do just that.
Sitting at the intersection of design and technology, this role partners closely with our global creative leaders to transform conceptual ideas into inspiring, tangible experiences. In collaboration with the Design Lead - AI and Concepting, you’ll bring vision to life—whether through motion, 3D environments, prototypes, or other immersive formats— helping to reimagine event experiences, jumpstarting advertising concepts, unlocking bold new ways to pitch ideas to our leaders, and more. If they can dream it, you can make it.
As a meticulous craftsperson, you’ll bring an exceptional eye for animation detail, pacing, and narrative rhythm. You’ll have a deep understanding of storytelling principles, cinematic language, and motion design systems— and the ability to translate brand principles into stories that move people emotionally and visually. Every frame you create will represent the best of us, but also push our brand into fresh, inspiring territories.
As a self-starter, you will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, can adapt to shifting priorities, and excel when faced with ambiguity. You’ll be a proactive storyteller—someone who takes initiative, leans forward, and can deliver exceptional work with little direction.
This role is in-office in San Francisco 4 days a week.

Visune
Material Artist
UK - Nottingham
Do you know a materials addict that might want to join the Visune team in Nottingham?
We're on the hunt for a Materials Artist. Before we put the big adverts out I wanted to see if there's someone already in our sphere that could fill it. Loose job spec:
- Make anything and everything Substance Designer (or are well on the way)
- Scan samples and process into market-ready PBR textures
- Stay on the pulse of CMF trends
- Attend trade shows and events to network with designers
We could have a discussion if you're shit hot at making procedural materials in KeyShot or Blender too.
Substance can taught but a passion for CMF and 3D can't. If you want to spend your life surrounded by materials and 3D software (or have a friend that does) HMU.
